Uaigong is a collection of design wall clocks and cuckoo clocks that combines East Asian inspiration with Italian tradition. Available in clock or cuckoo clock versions, it reinterprets the classic grandfather clock through a contemporary design language, transforming it into a modern and essential decorative element.
The name Uaigong recalls the Italian pronunciation of the Mandarin word “wàigong” (“maternal grandfather”), symbolically telling the story of the encounter between two cultures and two artisanal traditions.
The collection includes two versions:
Uaigong – Cuckoo Clock
The cuckoo clock version maintains the slender and iconic structure of the model, enriched by a battery-operated cuckoo movement.
The light-sensitive sensor prevents the bird from singing in the dark, while the control panel allows you to adjust the volume or silence the sound completely.
The colors — with references to red and gold — evoke East Asian decorative traditions, while the essential shape refers to contemporary Italian design.
Uaigong – Clock
The clock version features the same aesthetics as the collection, with a minimal dial and a precise and reliable quartz movement.
A contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional pendulum clock, designed for those who desire a decorative clock with a strong graphic character.
