Shapes and colours are always the leading features when it comes to innovation but this time the young talent, Gianluca Minchillo, has created a clock giving well deserved space to design and graphics. Evoking old fashioned patterns used in upholstery, tiles, and materials, he decided to create an object with strong features that set off contrasts of colour and patterns. There are two variations: Pattern and Partner, both clocks are made of painted wood. Partner is shaped horizontally with two rectangles of different sizes at each end but with the same pattern, the clock is situated in the centre and is completely black with white hands. Pattern, with a more important and unique design, is an explosion of four squares containing different patterns. Situated in the middle is a black cubic block featuring the clock.
