Umberto Tolino

Graduated in Industrial Design at Milan Polytechnic, with a thesis for Philips Design. Involved in visual, product and strategic design since 1997. A founding member of the cooperative rnd_lab, with a number of design projects published in various sector magazines. Included in two ADI Compasso d'Oro Design Index listings, and selected for the exhibition on The New Italian Design at the Milan Triennale event, with the rnd_time wall clock. Cool hunter for various strategic research products and a reporter on events linked to the design system. Since 2001, he has taught at the Department of Design and contributed to various masters courses at the Politecnico di Milano.
